Gita was one of three key note speakers at the Hair Biz Forum in October 2008 held at the Gold Coast, presenting alongside other Global speaker, Alan Pease and Simon Treselyan.

Goldwell Professional Hair Care enlisted Gita as key note speaker to deliver one of Salon Advantage’s signature workshops entitled “Let’s Make More Money”. This was delivered nationally to the MBE loyalty group within Goldwell. Gita was then enlisted to speak at their international conference entitled “Evolution” in Vietnam in 2006.

Salon Advantage has cross branded and implemented Salon Advantage, renamed “Taking Care of Business for the Jon Brennan Franchise Group with over 30 of the salons currently working with the proven tools.

Salon Advantage resources have been implemented into many Colleges of TAFE in Australia and the Polytech Colleges in New Zealand as a resource tool to deliver units of competencies to our young hairdressers National Training Package.

We are about increasing business knowledge personal development and team skills and believe we need to be working with the young hairdressers and beauty therapists of tomorrow to ensure this happens.”

We also have mapped the units of competencies to the Diploma in Beauty Therapy, so we can provide resource tools for delivery to students.

Professional Project Coaching is an area of expertise of Gita’s; working closely with the De Lorenzo Hair and Cosmetic Research Company, project coaching the management team for the past 3 years throughout the highest growth period for the company, by presenting to the ASPYA loyalty program clients.

Gita has been writing for Instyle Magazine for the past 8 years and also writes for the Professional Beauty Magazine, Australian Beauty Therapy Magazine, Hair Biz Magazine and Beauty Biz Magazines to ensure strong brand awareness in the marketplace.

Salon Advantage and Beauty Advantage qualified coaches regularly conduct workshops on business development at universities nationally, working on the basis of bi monthly half day sessions that strengthen the understanding of all that attend on how they can implement sound business strategies into their salons.
